Weapons and Security - 2021

The annual XVII International Specialized Exhibition "Weapons and Security - 2021" was held in the International Exhibition Center of the capital from June 15 to 18. Traditionally, the main organizers are the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as the State Concern "Укроборонпром".

The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleg Uruskyi, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak, Chairman of "Укроборонпром", Yurii Husiev and representatives of the armed forces of NATO member states and other distinguished guests.

The exhibition "Weapons and Security" is a unique tool for deepening military and military-technical cooperation with foreign partners, strengthening domestic economic potential and building a new strong Ukraine. Among the exhibits were the most modern models of weapons, individual equipment for soldiers on the battlefield, military equipment for the armed forces, armaments and equipment of law enforcement agencies, etc.

New developments in the field of defense and aerospace were represented by 332 companies, of which 35 were foreign companies from 13 countries.

Traditionally, the National Academy of Internal Affairs is among the participants of a large-scale international event. The expositions of the Academy always attract the active attention of visitors.

Volunteers had the opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific and practical developments and achievements of the Academy, to pass a master class on first aid from the staff of the home training center, polygraph survey (made by the specialists of the Center for Polygraph Research), as well as to communicate with representatives of the Center for Criminal Analysis of NAIA.

This event was significant in the context of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the National Academy of Internal Affairs. After all, the Academy has once again demonstrated its ability to provide proper training for highly qualified personnel of the law enforcement sector, as well as to conduct basic research on topical issues of law enforcement.
