Two decades have passed since the grand opening (with the participation of the Head of State and Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) of the first and so far the only institution in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine that provides full general secondary education to certain categories of children in need of increased social protection.

Thousands of lyceum graduates represent several generations. More than 40 of them were awarded with gold and silver medals for high academic achievements. Most of the pupils continued the dynasties of law enforcement officers, became worthy descendants of their parents who died or were injured in the line of duty to protect law and order, protect the territorial integrity and independence of the country.

The first enrollment in the lyceum took place in 1999. Currently, 179 boys and girls study here.

Being a lyceum student is prestigious and at the same time extremely responsible role. Its students are not just schoolchildren, but part of the staff of the National Academy of Internal Affairs – the successors of the glorious traditions of the institution with a 100-year history. In addition to mastering the educational program, lyceum students receive in-depth legal and enhanced physical training, combined with patriotic education, acquisition of skills necessary for successful entry and further study in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine or optionally in another civilian institution of higher education.

Undoubtedly, it is significant that the vast majority of lyceum graduates seek to continue their education in the NAIA and other universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, demonstrating a conscious willingness to continue their parents' work, dedicate themselves to police, protect human rights and strengthen law and order.

Under the conditions of quarantine restrictions, we changed the ceremonial to another format. We are sure that everyone accepts the recommendations of the administration and the teaching staff with understanding and dignity.

So we sincerely wish you good health and academic achievements! Remember and appreciate the Alma Mater, be a worthy example for peers, make every effort to enter the universities you want to enter. Our teachers and military commanders will definitely help you with this. By the way, the educational process in the lyceum is provided by 14 teachers, among whom are those, who stood at the origins of the institution - chemistry teacher Ilona Shaposhnikova, history teachers Tetiana Zelinska and Yuliia Dovhan, law teachers Nataliia Skrylova.

We thank all the staff of the lyceum, as well as parents of graduates, city and Solomyansk District State Administrations, the Ministry, The National Police in Kyiv and regions, graduates of previous years, veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and police for active support of our institution!
