Working visit to Strasbourg
15-12-2017Fourth meeting of the Council of Europe Project “Strengthening Freedom of the Media and Establishing a Public Broadcasting System in Ukraine” Steering Board members was held in Strasbourg, France. National Academy of Internal Affairs was represented by Deputy Rector Serhii Cherniavskyi.
During the meeting foreign experts discussed legislative and practical aspects of mass media staff protection.
The event was opened by Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe Dmytro Kuleba and Head of Department - Information Society at Council of Europe Patrick Penninckx who noted the valuable contribution of NAIA in the process of the abovementioned project implementation. A joint decision was made to initiate a set of specialized workshops and courses for MoI PR and NPU negotiation units on the basis of NAIA with support of the Council of Europe.
