According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine № 595/2020 on December 29, 2020 and based on the submission of the Committee on State Prizes of Ukraine in the field of science and technology, the President of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists 2020, for the thesis "Modern concept of criminal law combating organized crime", was awarded to Police Major Andrii Vozniuk, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Scientific Laboratory for Combating Crime of the Educational and Scientific Institute № 1 of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.

This scientific work of the scientist is devoted to the study of criminal liability for corruption offenses, including illicit enrichment, and the declaration of inaccurate information, crimes committed by the criminal community or a person who exerts criminal influence, in particular a person, who is in the status of a "crime boss", problems of criminal and administrative liability for violation of rules and regulations on the COVID-19 prevention, as well as domestic violence.

The main provisions of Andrii Vozniuk's researches are reflected in 250 scientific works, including 19 monographs, textbooks, manuals, encyclopedias, scientific and practical comments, 64 scientific articles in professional publications of Ukraine and foreign countries, 4 scientific articles in periodicals, included in the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, 50 guidelines, 25 certificates of copyright registration for law enforcement techniques, more than 100 abstracts of reports at scientific and practical events.

The results of the scientist's scientific work were actively discussed at scientific events of various levels, including those organized by the EU Advisory Mission, OSCE, TAIEX, DCAF, La Strada Ukraine, etc. On their basis, proposals for improving legislation and law enforcement practice are formed; they are also used in the educational process.
