As part of the annual World Action "16 Days Against Violence", representatives of the Academy, led by the Rector, Police General of the first rank Volodymyr Cherniei, have taken part in the presentation of the information campaign "The thing is 2.0", organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in partnership with the United Nations Office in Ukraine.

The main goal of the campaign is to draw public attention to the problem of domestic violence, to actualize the issues of forming zero tolerance for gender-based violence, to raise awareness about the identification and combating against this phenomenon.

This year, 16 Ukrainian stars and well-known public figures have taken part in the information campaign "The thing is 2.0". They have shot videos and have voiced real stories of domestic violence victims.

«16 days against violence» is not just about information campaigns. These are the days of activism. Therefore, everyone joined the flash mob «Against Violence».

The event was attended by: First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, Honorary Ambassador of UNFPA to Ukraine Maria Efrosinina, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Osnat Lubrani, Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine Tobias Tiberg, film director Iryna Tsilyk.

For 16 days (from November 25 to December 10) the exhibition will be available to the public on the 2nd floor of the Gulliver shopping mall. Videos created as part of the "The thing is 2.0" campaign can be viewed at: https://richutim2021.rozirvykolo.org.
