The material and technical base of ESI № 2 of NAIA has been supplemented with the modern forensic equipment
22-11-2021Thanks to the cooperation between the National Academy of Internal Affairs and its international partners – representatives of the UNOPS customer service department in Ukraine, the material and technical base of the Educational and Scientific Institute № 2 has recently been supplemented with modern samples of forensic equipment.
Technical tools and devices are advanced examples of modern forensic technology, which facilitate the work with trace information both at the crime scene and in the laboratory. Now the Department of Forensic Support and Science of ESI № 2 supplemented its arsenal with: unified dactyloscopic boxes for treatment of objects with dactyloscopic powders and other reagents; system for visualization of traces without their preliminary processing R.U.V.I.S.; video compaler Regula 4305 DMH to determine the authenticity of documents and many other devices.
The use of this technique during practical classes as part of the training for various categories of higher education applicants will enable future forensic scientists and experts to acquire new and improve existing knowledge and professional skills needed in further practical activities.
The staff of ESI № 2 expresses its gratitude to the administration of the Academy for assistance in updating forensic and expert equipment for further improvement of the practical component of the educational process.
