Rewarding the winners of the contest "Let's send corruption to quarantine"
25-06-2021On June 25, the Academy was visited by a delegation of the European Union Advisory Mission consisting of Senior Anti-Corruption Adviser Joseph Julius (Hungary), Anti-Corruption Adviser Adrian Banu (Romania), experts Bohdan Shapka and Oleg Sologub (Ukraine) as well as the project coordinator of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Ukraine Oleg Vatamanyuk (Ukraine). The purpose of the visit is to present prizes and awards to the winners of the "Let's send corruption to quarantine" campaign, which was organized by the EUAM and the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Ukraine among higher education applicants of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in order to raise awareness of the corruption consequences and the importance of fighting it.
The first stage of the competition was attended by representatives of 14 higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine involving 45 team works and 66 individual works. According to the results of the evaluation in the category "POSTERS", the second place was taken by the 3rd year cadet of the ESI №1 of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Corporal Alevtina Mironova. The Academy received two laptops from the delegation, the prize-winner received gifts from the European Union Advisory Mission, and from the NAIA – a commemorative sign "100 years of the National Academy of Internal Affairs" and a commemorative coin "100 years of the National Academy of Internal Affairs".
During the second stage of the competition, the winner was determined by online voting.
Among the seven posters, selected by the competition committee during the first stage, and according to the results of the voting, the prize of spectators' sympathies in the “POSTERS” nomination has been won by the first-year cadet of ESI №2 of NAIA, Police Private Karina Osadcha, to whom the representatives of the international delegation presented a modern graphic tablet.
