On September 5th international seminar «Оrganization of basic professional training for patrol police officers» in NAIA.
Representatives of Bavarian police – III Unit Chief Commissioner of Bavarian Readiness Police Uwe Hückmann and II Unit Commissioner of Bavarian Readiness Police Frank Bäuerlein – were invited to share valuable experience with Ukrainian colleagues from MIA of Ukraine (Department of Staff, Educational and Scientific Activity), HR Department of NPU and National Academy of Internal Affairs. Seminar is held in the framework of joint German-Ukrainian project on establishment of updated training system for NPU personnel.
Deputy Rector Serhii Cherniavskyi opened the event with welcoming words referred to guests, participants and representatives of Hanns Seidel Foundation Office in Ukraine. He stressed that community’s constant requests for law enforcement compliance to global standards and trends encourage the reformists to expedite the qualitative changes in training approaches using accumulated foreign experience as solid foundation for aspired transformations.
During the event participants actively discussed issues related to basic professional training for patrol police officers in both countries – schedule drafting, psychological support, practical elements of the training process, evaluation and assessment system.
