Oleksandra Pecheniuk is one of the strongest world sportsmen
05-06-20183rd-year cadet of Research and Training Institute №1 Oleksandra Pecheniuk took part (as a member of national team) in World Thai Boxing Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand on April 24th -May 8th (preparation stage) and Cancun, Mexico on May 10th -23rd.
Championship gathered representatives from 77 states. Ukraine got 9 medals in total (4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze) taking third place in the team ranking. Oleksandra Pecheniuk (lightweight, 57-60 kg) was granted the status of one of the six strongest sportsmen in the world (among 14 representatives of national teams).
Оleksandra had two duel meets with representatives of Kazakhstan and Mexico, winning all three rounds in the first one but giving the victory to opponent in the second.
