NPU officers mastered typical situations and scenarios of public order and security management
21-03-2018On March 21st seventy NPU police officers (task force) completed their 11-day public security course with the participation of Swedish and Danish instructors aimed to excel their practical skills regarding tactics and methodology of mass disturbances management.
Instructors offered multiple scenarios including football fans escorting, prevention of conflicts with demonstrators, de-escalation of mutual aggression and misunderstanding. NAIA cadets had an opportunity to participate in drills and be familiarized with some aspects of their colleagues’ experience.
NPU authority also paid a visit to the trainees, evaluating the level of staff preparedness and course material adaptation.
