NAIA representatives take part in Summer School «Investigation of corruption-related crimes»21-07-2017
Summer School «Investigation of corruption-related crimes» was launched on July 16th in Bukovel by Ukrainian Interdisciplinary Anti-corruption Research and Education Centre for young lawyers and NGO members. NAIA was presented by Vladislav Shkolnikov and Artem Burtak.
Participants were selected on the competitive base with due attention to candidates’ motivation letters.
Ukrainian and American experts familiarized participants with key functions, scope of authorities and structure of newly created National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office along with peculiarities of interaction mechanism; American prosecution agencies and FBI activity; search of information in open resisters; visualization of corruption-related criminal schemes; role of media support in corruption combating; investigative actions, tactical planning, evidence collection, interrogation and courtroom presentation practices.
