On April 4, 2019, the rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Cherniei, together with the Head of the European Union Consultative Mission in Ukraine, Kęstutis Lančinskas had a meeting with the Academy's students.
During the meeting, leaders talked to graduate students in an amicable atmosphere. The chairman of the EUAM, Kęstutis Lančinskas, told the students about the features of law enforcement activities abroad, the implementation of new reforms, and about the work in the field of diplomatic relations.
In his turn, the rector of the NAIA Volodymyr Cherniei noted that the cooperation between Academy and international experts is quite long and fruitful. Our higher education institution has traditionally served as a platform for conducting a variety of trainings on: leadership and management, public security, police dialogue, domestic violence response (with the participation of international experts), and a variety of events with the assistance of the EUAM.
Cadets have displayed a great amount of attention to the issues and the peculiarities of their future profession.
In general, the meeting was fruitful, since higher education graduates were able to deepen their knowledge of the European institutions (including police forces) activities.
