ICANN international experts visit NAIA
20-11-2017On November 17th experts from international Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) – a non-profit organization established to settle issues arising in the area of domain names, IP-addresses and other aspects of Internet-related activities – paid a visit to NAIA with the support of NGO «Ukrainian Academy of Cybersecurity» SSR Director Carlos С. Alvarez and Expert on Global Interaction Oleksandra Kulikova.
Carlos С. Alvarez presented his lecture «Fundamentals on the Domain Name System, how criminals exploit it and why it matters for a lawyer or an investigator, from an anti-abuse perspective» to NAIA teaching staff, doctoral students and cadets, specialists from NPU units, State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine, National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine.
After the official part our guests were invited to visit the MoI Museum and discuss enhancement of cooperation between ICANN, NAIA and NGO «Ukrainian Academy of Cybersecurity» in the area of training programs development for law enforcement units dealing with cybercrime issues.
