The academic year began at the National Academy in accordance with the established procedure. Its features are constantly brought to all personnel – constant and variable.

Today, September 2, the Rector of the Academy, police general of the second rank Volodymyr Cherniei, with the participation of heads of educational units, held another extended working meeting with cadets of graduation courses. Guidelines on preparation for duty trips are given to the relevant units of the main departments of the National Police of all regions of Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on the important components of pre-service internships. It is important to complete the mastering of theoretical courses in the current semester with the consolidation of certain skills during extracurricular practice.

Future graduates are focused on unconditional observance of discipline and legality. For all the demands of their service, they must be friendly to people and respect the rights of citizens.

According to the situation, the Rector proved the peculiarities of the current period: “We have integrated educational processes into the distance mode of learning in order to provide as much education to students of all categories as possible. The anti-epidemic situation declared in Ukraine forces all of us, and especially you as future law enforcement officers, to perform your functional duties at the highest level with full awareness of the motto "Serve and protect," – Volodymyr Vasylovych said.

During the speech, the need to prevent coronavirus infection was repeatedly emphasized. It is noted that the Academy strictly adheres to the requirements of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the recommendations of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine due to the threat of the spread of COVID-19. The explanations and advice had been met with understanding.

The Rector also noted the importance of information hygiene. Unfortunately, in this area, the spread of fakes is not uncommon both in terms of the number of patients and the effectiveness of anti-epidemic measures. Such manifestations must be prevented. The Rectorate does not support the suppression of information in any way, but is interested in working together to ensure a reliable quarantine regime in the country.
