Council of Europe Office in Ukraine launches training for NAIA teaching staff
20-12-2017On December 20th NAIA welcomed participants of two-day training «Counteracting the intentional misconduct under provisions of European Convention on Human Rights» in the context of European Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) aimed to support the Council of Europe (CoE) member states in implementing the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) at the national level.
Deputy Rector Serhii Cherniavskyi stressed on the importance of such events for law enforcement officers and offered to consider the opportunity of relevant training programs amending.
During the event participants discussed the following topics: «Counteracting the intentional misconduct under provisions of European Convention on Human Rights», «International and European legal regulation»; «Arrest and detention procedure. Medical treatment», «Use of force and restrictions», «Inhumane treatment prevention».
