The main objectives:

- the provision of financial processes and business activities of the Academy within the funds allocated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and by own revenues of the Academy received from paid services, sale, lease, donation etc.;
- to form budget indices, financing, usage of public funds;
- the organizational and methodological provision of implementation of existing legal acts on labor issues in the system of ministries of: Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Education and Science of Ukraine, Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine;
- accounting of financial and economic activity of the Academy and making reports;
- displaying in documents the full and accurate information about business operations and performance required for the operational management of budget appropriations (assignation) and financial (intangible) resources;
- ensuring the adherence to the budget law on budgetary obligations, timely submission for registration of such obligations, payments under the assumed budget commitments, full and fair reflection of accounting and reporting;
- monitoring of the presence and movement of assets, usage of financial and material (intangible) resources in accordance with the approved standards and budgets;
- prevention of negative phenomena in the financial and economic activity;
- providing of methodological guidance and monitoring of compliance with legislation on accounting, preparation of financial and budgetary reporting at the academy.
