NPU officers have to deal with stressful situations almost every day in the course of their routine activities. That is why police officers must constantly improve their individual skills on quick response in stressful environment and decision making in critical situations. The abovementioned skills require guidance of professionals – police psychologists, whose task is to keep the police officers’ performance on the highest level by upgrading their competences.

EUAM organized a specialized 4-day training for police psychologists on stress management. NAIA representatives also took part in this event; Dutch experts provided the participants with theoretical models of stress coping and discussed the opportunities of its adaptation to the NPU needs.
