First certificates issued to Ukrainian paramedics
04-07-2017On July 3rd a working meeting with Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges at NATO Sorin Dumitru Ducaru was held in National Academy of Internal Affairs.
This visit was scheduled in the framework of NATO project implementation - «Development of multinational telemedicine system for emergency situations» - in Ukraine to mark out the establishment of specialized training center for paramedics.
Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges at NATO Sorin Dumitru Ducaru expressed profound gratitude for fruitful cooperation and noted the Ukrainian capacity to successfully complete the abovementioned initiative implementation through delivered skills and expertise for hundreds of lives to be saved and hundreds of patients professionally treated.
NAIA Rector Volodymyr Cherniei stressed that all necessary technical and organizational requirements were met to launch the first training sessions in order to achieve the first results by the beginning of the next year.
After the official part 12 Ukrainian paramedics (participants of Romanian specialized training course for paramedics) – representatives of MoI of Ukraine, State Emergency Service and NPU) – received their certificates of excellence from Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges at NATO Sorin Dumitru Ducaru, NAIA Rector Volodymyr Cherniei and People’s Deputy of Ukraine Olha Bohomolets.
